📡 THIS WEEK IN CRYPTO
GM, Readers!
A record-breaking treasury print, a sleeper wallet waking up, a wanted hacker testing a new backdoor, and an institutional powerhouse quietly buying while the rest of the market bleeds. The headlines called for Fear. The on-chain data told a wilder story.
Let’s get into it...

Watch the whales and the crowd in one place
WhaleTales readers already follow the big wallets. SentimenTracker puts that view next to the rest of the picture: Whale Watch for large transactions, AI social sentiment across crypto and equities, Treasury Tracker for corporate crypto holdings, and ETF Flows for institutional capital moves. It is one dashboard with 24/7 real-time monitoring, so you spend less time hopping between tabs.

🐳 THE BIG WHALE MOVES
1. The Treasury King Just Printed a Giant Number
“We found room for even more orange” - Michael Saylor on X.
Strategy announced Q3 2026 results on Oct 29. The company booked a $20.91B digital-asset gain, lifting its BTC stack to 848,517 BTC (as of Oct 25). Record operating income. CFO Andrew Kang steps down on November 5. MSTR shares dipped after hours anyway.
Whale Intel: Every Strategy earnings is now a BTC market event. 848.5K BTC in a single treasury means any accounting rule change or CFO transition moves the stock and the asset itself.

2. A Six-Year Sleeper Just Blinked
According to Lookonchain, a dormant wallet moved 999.953 BTC ($78.12M) after more than six years of complete inactivity. The coins were originally accumulated when Bitcoin traded at $10,727.
Whale Intel: Old whale moves signal two things. An exchange deposit signals sell pressure, while a private-wallet transfer points to an OTC deal. Watch the next hop.
3. The $6.3B Attacker Just Found a New Door
Lookonchain tracked the Binance $6.3B hacker depositing $250K into Gate.io over the past 12 hours. First visible attempt at off-ramping through a tier-2 centralized exchange (CEX). Earlier batches went through Tornado Cash.
Whale Intel: Expect Gate to freeze the deposits and run sanctions screening fast. If a tier-2 CEX ends up processing even part of this, exchange compliance just failed in public.
4. While Altcoins Bleed, Bitmine Buys 8,500 ETH
Institutional accumulation is holding steady despite the broader pullbacks.
Bitmine added 8,573 ETH to its balance sheet over the past week, stepping in to absorb sell-side pressure during market weakness.
Whale Intel: Corporate and institutional accumulation during macro dips signals deep long-term conviction, quietly building positions while retail hesitates. Watch for matching wallet staking transfers on-chain next.

Together With DIT AgTech
Elon Musk. Jensen Huang. Washington. What’s the Connection?
AI is moving into the physical economy.
Elon is building it. Jensen sees it in Agriculture. Washington is backing it. And DIT AgTech is already putting it to work in livestock.
Most investors haven’t connected the dots yet.
At $1 a share, you still can.

📊 ETF FLOW WATCH

BTC ETF daily flows, Oct 27 to Nov 2, 2026 | Source: SoSoValue
Spot BTC ETFs printed two brutal sessions on Oct 30 and Nov 2. The Fed decision and the Binance incident drove roughly -$711.56M of total net flows between Oct 27 and Nov 2 (Source: SoSoValue). The sticky institutional bid that held through October is now sitting on hands.
Whale Intel: Institutional flows need a signal to re-engage. Watch the Nov 10 CPI print and the first clean withdrawal week on Binance. Either flips the tape.

😂 MEME OF THE WEEK

🚩 RUG PULL HALL OF SHAME
Predict.fun: $400K Drained From 29 Wallets

Predict.fun reported that roughly 400,000 USDT was lost, while Bitquery’s on-chain trace specifically recorded 397,708 USDT drained from 29 user wallets. Not a classic rug pull or smart contract exploit, but on-chain forensics revealed that attackers bypassed security via compromised third-party API documentation, tricking victims into authorizing transactions with their own owner signatures.
Predict.fun has pledged full reimbursement.
Whale Intel: If you interacted with Predict.fun developer tools or exported private keys for trading bots, revoke all token approvals immediately.

🔍 CRYPTO CRIMINAL OF THE WEEK
Two Brothers. $8M. 27 Years Combined.

The DOJ sentenced Texas brothers Raymond and Isiah Garcia to 180 months and 186 months in prison, respectively, for an $8M crypto home invasion in Minnesota. They zip-tied the family at gunpoint for over nine hours, forced one of the victims to transfer his crypto, and drove him to retrieve hardware wallets and transfer funds.
They fled to Houston. The victim’s son called 911. They were later arrested.
Whale Intel: Operational security is not just about seed phrases. Keep your net worth off social media, keep hardware wallets in bank deposit boxes, and never discuss holdings in public.

🎲 DEGENS ARE BETTING ON...
1. Predict.fun Over $500M FDV on Day 1: 63.8%
Opinion put the odds at 63.8% that Predict.fun crosses a $500M FDV one day after its token launch.
2. BTC Hits $70K Before $100K: 45%
Kalshi flagged a 45% probability that BTC hits $70K before $100K.
3. Two Fed Hikes By Year End: Kalshi Trader Call
Kalshi traders forecast exactly 2 rate hikes before year-end.

⚡ QUICK HITS
Standard Chartered unveils 24/7 tokenized deposits solution in Hong Kong for corporate clients.
Binance sees $3.6B customer withdrawals following history’s biggest crypto hack.
Token Terminal Q3: TRON hit a record $92.25B stablecoin supply alongside $2.18T in transfer volume.
Mercado Bitcoin, Brazil’s largest crypto exchange, paused withdrawals following a $40M security breach.
BTCPay, the open-source payment processor, urged users to shut down self-hosted instances following active hot wallet draining attacks.

👁 WHAT TO WATCH NEXT WEEK
Binance net flows need to stabilize post-reopening before exchange risk concerns fade. Nov 10 CPI could unlock a dovish November Fed pivot.

And watch whether that dormant whale makes a second move. 🐳
