📊 News flash: The REX-Osprey™ strategic venture between REX Shares and Osprey Funds launched the REX-Osprey™ DOGE ETF (ticker: DOJE) and the REX-Osprey™ XRP ETF (ticker: XRPR) on Thursday, September 18.

It debuts the first U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with spot trading exposure for XRP and DOGE coin investors.

What Propelled ETF Debuts? 📈

The debut of REX-Osprey XRP and DOGE ETFs was propelled by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) approval of accelerated listing standards for ETFs.

The SEC’s amended filings highlight a “good cause” to approve the standards before the 30-day waiting period. In September 2025, the SEC approved new Generic Listing Standards for stock exchanges like Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, or Cboe BZX Exchange to expedite crypto ETF listings.

The launch witnessed an immediate surge in DOGE and XRP prices. According to Eric Blachunas, Senior ETF Analyst at Bloomberg, $DOGE posted a historic $6 million trading volume on its first day. XRP, on the other hand, reported a trading volume of $37.7m on its first day, marking it as one of the most successful ETF launches in 2025.

SEC Greenlights Grayscale’s Multi-Crypto ETP 🟢

The SEC has approved Grayscales Digital Large Cap Fund’s (GDLC) multi-crypto ETP (exchange-traded product) amid the commission’s broader generic listing standards.

On September 18, Grayscale CEO Peter Mintzberg shared on X that $GDLC has now been approved as the “first” multi-crypto asset ETP.

Grayscale will launch its large-cap fund, GDLC, comprising BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, and ADA, which will soon debut on the NYSE stock exchange.

What This Means: The SEC’s approval will fast-track a long list of crypto ETFs and indicate mainstream ETF adoption, wider capital inflows, and safer and accessible investments for everyday investors.

🔔 Crypto Buzz: The Ethereum developers are set to launch their Fusaka Upgrade mainnet on December 3, 2025.

Once the Fusaka upgrade goes live, it will significantly improve Ethereum’s data efficiency and scalability.

What is Fusaka Upgrade? 🔍

Once the news broke out, there were mega Ethereum whale wallet accumulations, suggesting growing investor confidence.

With the Fusaka upgrade, Ethereum can enhance its gas limit from 30 million units to 120 million units. The upgrade will improve “blob capacity,” an important feature of layer-2 scaling, in two phases of subsequent Blob-Parameter-Only (BPO) forks. Phase 1 will improve the blob limits from 6/9 to 10/15, and in phase 2, it will expand to 14/21.

What This Means: The Fusaka Upgrade is an important part of Ethereum’s data structure. An improved blob capacity will increase transaction speed, data availability, scalability, and network efficiency, without compromising network performance. No requirement for immediate software changes for users.

MetaMask Adds Social Logins for Wallet Access 📱

MetaMask, the world's leading crypto digital asset, introduced an innovative “Social Login” feature on August 26 to easily and securely create, manage, and recover non-custodial wallets through Google and Apple accounts. The catch? The new feature eliminates the long and cumbersome 12-word seed phrase. France Threatens to Ban EU Crypto Licensing 🚫

France’s securities regulator, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), has warned that it may ban crypto firms licensed in other European Union (EU) countries from operating domestically. Earlier, Crypto firms under MiCA licenses could operate across Europe under a legal mechanism called “passporting.” France has called the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) to supervise and enforce stricter rules on large crypto firms for activities outside the EU and review cybersecurity and new token offerings. 📎 Read More at Reuters. 

0G Labs Debuts Aristotle Mainnet for Decentralized AI 🌐

0G Labs, the pioneering decentralized AI Operating System (dAIOS), announced the launch of its 0G mainnet “Aristotle” on September 22. Aristotle is now fully operational and ready for AI-native applications and execution after extensive testing on Galileo TestNet. Michael Heinrich, the CEO and co-founder of 0G Labs, stated that the launch aims to build an AI-native decentralized operating system, making it accessible to everyone, and not limited to big tech firms. 📎 Read More at TheStreet Roundtable.
