In a major overhaul, trusted crypto exchange Coinbase announced its partnership with mobile giant Samsung Electronics starting October 3 to bring seamless and user-friendly crypto access to over 75 million American Samsung Galaxy phone owners.

What the Partnership 🤝 Offers
“Anytime, anywhere, and for anyone,” states Coinbase, which aims to facilitate exclusive access to U.S. customers by joining hands with Samsung Wallet.
Samsung Wallet users get direct access through the Samsung Pay application.
Users enjoy a 3-month subscription-free access to Coinbase One and other perks like zero trading fees on specific assets and boosted staking rewards, which costs $4.99/month for the basic plan.
Moreover, Samsung Wallet users get a free $25 credit for executing their first trade with Coinbase.
What This Means: The collaboration is a step forward in global crypto adoption. The two market giants envisage peer-to-peer crypto transactions for users from the comfort of their mobile phones. Earlier, Coinbase had integrated Samsung Pay for selected Coinbase users for easy and faster wallet funding in the U.S., with plans to expand across Canada soon.

Early Sunday, Bitcoin pushed a new All-Time High, trading above $125K, surpassing its previous mid-August high of $124K.

UK FCA Lifts Crypto ETN Ban: Oct 2 🔓
Effective October 2, the UK FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) lifted the four-year-long ban on Bitcoin cETNs (crypto exchange-traded notes) for retail investors. The ban was first enacted on retail clients in January 2021. In June 2025, FCA announced that cETNs will be available to individual customers if trades are executed on FCA-approved exchanges.
