📡 THIS WEEK IN CRYPTO
GM, Readers!
BTC bottomed out near $76K to $77K before testing the $82K resistance zone on Thursday. Friday's blowout jobs print lifted rate-hike odds. Spot BTC ETFs pulled $986.85M this week, the best 3-week stretch of 2026. An anonymous whale also dumped $408M of ETH into ETFs that kept absorbing it.
Let’s get into it...

🐳 THE BIG WHALE MOVES
1. Bonk Guy Bags Over $1 Million on $MEME
On September 7, Solana trader Unipcs (better known as @theunipcs or "Bonk Guy") bought 10.3M $MEME for $1.43M while the market was actively panic-selling. Hours later, $MEME rallied. Unrealized profit: $1.05M.
This is the trader who publicly turned $16K into $20M+ on $BONK, $6K into $1M+ on $WIF, and $300K into $8M on $Fartcoin. Faith, or timing. Both work.

2. Mystery ETH Whale Completes $408M Exit
One anonymous wallet consolidated 167,855 ETH, deposited to exchanges over five days (Aug 27 to Sept 4), and sold it all for roughly $408M, per Lookonchain. The wallet went to zero. ETH went up.
Over the same window, ether ETFs took $141.39M on Sept 3 alone (led by BlackRock's ETHA at $72M), and ETH climbed past $2,520. Institutional bid absorbed everything.
Whale Intel: A $408M seller could not move the price. That is the ETF era in one data point.

3. Mystery Whale Keeps Stacking $HYPE
A single wallet (0x6436) has been aggressively accumulating $HYPE. Over recent days, it bought another several hundred thousand tokens, bringing its total purchases to roughly 3.24M $HYPE ($252M), and staked the entire position.
Whale Intel: When a wallet stakes every token it buys and keeps adding size, it is not trading the chart. It is positioning for a larger move.

4. Invesco ETH Clients: Six Months of Just Holding
While one whale dumped $408M of ETH, Invesco's spot ETH ETF clients did not have a single week of net selling since March 19, per Arkham X post. Six months of accumulation, roughly $167M added, zero drama.
Abraxas Capital, by contrast, added 16,554 ETH (about $39.8M) while holding large ETH shorts on Hyperliquid. Different playbooks, same takeaway: institutional ETH is a HODL cohort now.
Whale Intel: When retail whales sell and institutions keep buying, price direction is more about who runs out of tokens first.

2 minutes. Your URL. A customer profile worth using.
Most founders can describe their product. They can't describe their customer. Not in a way that actually changes how they sell.
HubSpot for Startups built a free tool to fix that. Paste in your URL, answer a few quick questions, and it generates a structured profile of your best-fit customer. Firmographics, buying triggers, the works.

🚩 RUG PULL HALL OF SHAME
CYBERLEEK: The GTA VI Leaker Exit

On August 27, hours before Rockstar's official GTA VI “Extended look” reveal on Netflix, the anonymous operator behind the "Cyberleek" GTA VI leaks cashed out roughly $250,000 from their Solana memecoin $CYBERLEEK. The token had been watermarked on every leaked clip alongside the QR code and the promise "higher market cap = more leaks."
The wallet that created the token claimed roughly $146K in wrapped SOL plus 15.4M tokens in accumulated creator fees, then sold the whole allocation for about $125K in SOL in a single transaction. Peak market cap: about $25M on August 23. The token now trades near $0.000735 (8:45 PM ET, CoinGecko).

Whale Intel: The $250K exit came from LP fees, not a founder dump. When a token's only utility is buying you leaks, the leaker is always the exit liquidity.

🔍 CRYPTO CRIMINAL OF THE WEEK
Christopher Delgado: The $400M Goliath Ventures Ponzi

Christopher Alexander Delgado (34, Apopka, FL), CEO of Goliath Ventures (formerly Gen-Z Venture Firm), pleaded guilty on June 30 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering. From January 2023 to January 2026, he and co-conspirators operated Goliath as a Ponzi scheme, soliciting funds under promises of monthly returns from cryptocurrency "liquidity pools" that never existed.
The DOJ has identified at least $400M paid by investors, with $250M in admitted losses. Delgado spent proceeds on at least six residential properties (between $1.15M and $8.5M each), Lamborghinis, Rolls-Royces, Rolex watches, and Louis Vuitton bags. Sentencing hearing: October 21. On August 11, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) filed a civil action in the U.S. District Court of Florida. He faces up to 50 years in federal prison, combined.
Whale Intel: When a "crypto liquidity pool" fund promises monthly fixed returns, that is not a strategy; that is a Ponzi. Real yield varies.
