📊 News flash: November 13 marks the historic launch of the first-ever U.S. Spot XRP ETF (ticker: $XRPC) by Canary Capital on the Nasdaq.

XRPC: The Biggest ETF Launch of 2025 🚀 

Canary Capital’s $XRPC emerged as the biggest ETF launch this year, closing the day with $58 million in trading volume, the largest opening-day trade so far this year. It recorded a solid early volume of $26 million in the first 30 minutes of its launch and outperformed the previous ETF blockbuster, BSOL (Bitwise Solana Staking ETF) by an inch. BSOL witnessed $57 million on its first day.

XRPC poured in a massive new capital inflow of $245 million on Day 1, while BSOL recorded $69.5 million. Bloomberg’s Senior ETF Analyst, Eric Balchunas, said that both ETFs “are in a league of their own.”

Why This Matters: XRPC and BSOL’s wild entries and strong inflows highlight increased institutional adoption. Investors are now ready for regulated and exchange-listed (Nasdaq) investment vehicles. As the U.S. government shutdown finally comes to an end, it clears the path for the SEC to resume operations and open floodgates to pending ETFs.

🔔 Crypto Buzz: The U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee released a new discussion draft on a bipartisan crypto market structure bill.

Details: 

On Monday, November 10, the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry published the long-anticipated Senate draft led by Chair John Boozman (R-AR) and Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ).

Key Components:

The draft authorizes the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) to oversee and regulate the digital commodities spot market. It aims to foster growth and mainstream adoption of crypto. Establish clear & robust provisions for customer protection. Also, to clearly define “digital commodities” and coordinate with the SEC for unified regulation.

The new draft is an extension of the Clarity Act. It provides a clear segregation of digital assets and a new jurisdiction for the crypto market structure.

Japan to Reclassify Crypto and Ensure Tax Gains 

Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) is to reclassify 105 cryptocurrencies (including BTC and ETH) as financial products. FSA also aims to reduce the current maximum tax on crypto gains from 55% to 20%. Exchanges are mandated to provide real-time disclosure of assets and their financial health and issuer details to protect consumer interests and reduce fraud.📎Read More at The Block.

Meet “Kohaku,” Ethereum’s Privacy-focused Crypto Suite

On November 17, Ethereum Foundation co-founder Vitalik Buterin introduced “Kohaku,” a privacy-focused suite of crypto tools to upgrade on-chain protection and privacy. Ethereum has recently formed “Privacy Cluster,” a team of 47 experts to bolster network privacy. El Salvador Hits Jackpot – Buys $100M BTC in a Single Day

According to El Salvador’s national Bitcoin Office data, the country bought 1,090 BTC, worth approximately $100 million, on Monday, bringing its total Bitcoin accumulation to 7474 BTC worth nearly $676 million. In 2022, El Salvador’s pro-Bitcoin President Nayib Bukele announced that the country would purchase 1 BTC every day to add to its Bitcoin holdings.
